CAT6 data cabling for Adelaide homes
For a connection that doesn’t drop out, nothing beats a wired data connection. We install CAT6 outlets for smart TVs, home offices, gaming and reliable streaming, installed correctly to code.
As an ACRS Master Cabler, Darrel is licensed to install both TV (RG6) and data (CAT6) cabling, so the whole job is done by one qualified person.
Outlet and cabling questions, answered
How much does it cost to add a new TV point in Adelaide?
It depends on where the point goes and how far the cable has to run from the existing point, so we quote a fixed price on site before starting. No surprises once the work is done.
Can you install a TV outlet in a brick wall?
Yes. Brick, plasterboard, double-storey runs and tricky cable paths are all part of the job. We find the neatest route and finish the outlet flush with a tidy wall plate.
Do I need data cabling or is WiFi enough?
WiFi is fine for casual browsing, but for smart TVs, gaming, working from home or streaming in 4K, a wired data point is far more reliable. We install CAT6 data outlets that give you a stable, fast connection where you need it.
Can you relocate my Foxtel cable to a new room?
Yes. We relocate and add Foxtel outlets, run new cabling and tidy up the connection so your box works perfectly in the new spot.
What is the difference between CAT6 and RG6 cable?
RG6 is coaxial cable, used for TV and Foxtel signal. CAT6 is data cable, used for internet and networking. They do different jobs, and as an ACRS Master Cabler we install both correctly to standard.
